New OFCCP Directive Revives Disability and Veteran Enforcement – 5 Steps Federal Contractors Should Consider Now

The Department of Labor just gave the green light for federal contractor audits and investigations involving disability and veteran bias to resume immediately. While affirmative action obligations based on race, sex, and other EO 11246 categories remain nullified under a January executive order from President Trump, the agency’s J uly 2 announcement means it is back in business for enforcing Section 503 ( disability ) and VEVRAA ( protected veterans ) . OFCCP Audit-Related Webpages Reactivated

Recently, many federal government websites, including several Department of Labor (DOL) pages, have undergone significant changes. In February, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website featured only a landing page referencing Executive Order 14173 from January 21, 2025, titled “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity.” Early this week, DCI observed a number of webpages on OFCCP’s site coming back online. Though not accessible from the existing OFCCP home page, many direct links that once only resulted in “Page Not Found” errors have come back online. OFCCP Publishes New Corporate Scheduling Announcement List

  Today, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs published the latest  Corporate Scheduling Announcement List   (CSAL) for supply & service contractors, which is composed of 2,000 federal contractors and subcontractors. The CSAL is a courtesy notification to an establishment selected for a Compliance Evaluation, Corporate Management Compliance Evaluation, Functional Affirmative Action Program Evaluation, or University Evaluation. We encourage contractors to take advantage of our suite of  compliance assistance  offerings and to contact their local field and regional offices for technical assistance as they prepare for the evaluation.
