2025 Executive Orders to Watch in 2026

The first year of President Donald Trump’s second term proved to be a busy one. The White House issued Executive Orders on a wide range of topics, including employment, energy and natural resources, government contracting, federal regulatory oversight, and artificial intelligence. A number of these Executive Orders were challenged in court. Some of those challenges remain active, but others have been at least partially resolved. Now that the flurry of Executive Orders has slowed somewhat, business leaders can get a better sense of how to comply with this new federal guidance. Last night, we had our first true snowfall of the season. The leaves still on the trees were covered, and the leaves piled for collection made it look like the end of January, when the plows push the compacted snow ever higher on the curb. My friend from Chicago asked if I, too, was experiencing a winter snowstorm. I jokingly asked if he had enough milk and bread to sustain him for the duration.  It's difficult to believe that it's time to start wintering.
