OFCCP Releases New VEVRAA Regs and Resources

 On February 29, 2024, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) released new resources to assist veterans and employers understand the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) OF 1974.

 

The Act prohibits federal contractors and subcontractors from engaging in discrimination in employment practices against veterans and requires employers to take action to provide equal opportunity in recruitment, hiring, promoting and retaining protected veterans.
